Over millions of years, wind, water, frost and time transformed the sandstone of Adršpach into an extraordinary natural labyrinth.
My hope is that you’ll leave with the feeling that, for a few hours, you really did step into another world.
Massive rock towers rise high above the forest, some reaching nearly 300 feet, while narrow passages disappear between dramatic stone walls before suddenly opening onto beautiful viewpoints and secluded corners.
But Adršpach is more than spectacular scenery. As we walk, I’ll bring the landscape to life through its geological origins, local legends, early explorers and the stories of people who first ventured into this mysterious stone wilderness centuries ago.

Adršpach is one of those rare places where simply walking through the landscape becomes the experience
Around one corner, you find yourself beneath enormous sandstone towers. Around the next, the path squeezes between narrow rock walls or leads toward a waterfall hidden in the forest.

We’ll explore Adršpach on foot, following forest paths through a landscape of giant sandstone towers, dramatic cliffs, narrow passages, crystal-clear water and waterfalls.
Along the way, we’ll encounter some of its most famous formations — the Lovers, the Mayor and Mayoress, the Sugar Loaf and many others whose unusual shapes have inspired names, stories and legends for generations.
